Facilitator: Cathy Nordheim, M.A., Certified Spiritual Director

We all know as active and overwhelmed people, that we are carrying more than our share of stress everyday. Join us for this 3-part series of support and learning as we seek to live healthier in busy and frazzled times. We will explore:

  • what we are telling ourselves: How we can live beyond the cultural and personal messages that contribute to our stress-filled lives.
  • a holistic model for taking care of ourselves using Dr. Henry Emmons’ model of “Seven Habits of Resiliency”
  • how to develop spiritual practices for a chaotic world.

Cathy Nordheim, M.A., Certified Spiritual Director

Cathy Nordheim, M.A. holds graduate degrees in education (Central Michigan University) and in theology (St. Catherine University). She is Program Assistant to the Spiritual Direction Certificate Program at St. Catherine University, and has a private practice in spiritual direction in Inver Grover Heights. She writes curriculum and facilitates classes and events for area congregations, serving as a resource for the adult spiritual journey.

Cathy meets individually and in small groups with people who are moving away from old religious views, or who are seeking health and wholeness in their current community. She creates a sacred space for the sharing of our unique stories, and offers a compassionate presence in supporting authentic living as spiritual people in this world.
