Movement Meditation at Well Within
Join us for an hour dedicated to being present to our bodies, minds, and spirits. Each one-hour class begins with a centering activity to bring us into present moment awareness. Movement progresses slowly as we are guided by breath and body awareness to develop our strength, flexibility, and balance. Flowing postures from yoga, tai chi, and qigong are integrated into an experience intended to strengthen the healer within by reducing stress and boosting the immune system. This class is committed to the practice of letting go of judgment, expectation and competition to cultivate loving-kindness toward self, others and our world. New participants must meet with the instructor prior to participation.
Christian Movement Meditation at Guardian Angels Church in Oakdale
This class meets in the beautiful historic church in Oakdale, MN. Christian Movement Meditation is prayer of the body, mind and spirit. Prayer inspires love, hope and peace. These emotions have the power to reverse the adverse effects of the stress response and help heal us and make us whole. This 60-minute class begins with a centering activity to quiet the mind and turn awareness to the body, so that there is an openness to be filled with the Spirit. Please contact Cami Smalley prior to attending class for the first time.
“I just wanted to let you know that yoga yesterday was so good. I left there moving and walking better than I can ever remember. It felt SO GOOD.”
