Well Within is a warm and welcoming nonprofit wellness resource center that offers innovative programs and services to those who seek well-being and healing of body, mind and spirit.

What is Well Within?

Well Within is a nonprofit 501(c)3 wellness and renewal resource center located in West St. Paul, MN. Co-founders Mary Treacy O'Keefe, M.A., and artist Pat Walsh, opened Well Within in July 2004 to provide a warm and welcoming place where they, and a network of volunteers, could support individuals seeking greater balance and wellness in their lives. Anyone interested in integrated, affirming and healthy living is welcome, although first priority is given to individuals in the midst of a health or life crisis, and those who care for them. Participants include those who:

• Are challenged by the stresses of everyday life

• Are experiencing loss through death, divorce, job loss, or any personal loss

• Live with newly diagnosed or chronic health conditions

• Live with, have survived, or care for someone with an illness

• Want to explore holistic approaches to nourish the body, mind, emotions and spirit.

Thanks to our outstanding volunteer providers, Well Within offers affordable approaches for exploring one's personal wellness journey within a caring community. We offer practical tools and compassionate support for the inner work that often accompanies health and life transitions. Classes, creative art exploration, one-on-one sessions, and other integrative wellness experiences support each individuals' innate ability to heal, live more fully and become "well within".

The Well Within mission is to assist and encourage people who live with, help others live with, or have survived
serious health crises, regardless of ability to pay.

Mary Treacy O'Keefe--background includes an undergraduate degree in secondary education and a MA in theology. During her twenty year business career in marketing she developed a wide variety of professional management skills. Currently she is in private practice as a certified spiritual director and healing touch practitioner. As a breast cancer survivor and published writer she is often requested to give talks at workshops and conferences in both the health care community and for the general public.

Pat Walsh--background includes degrees in art education and theology. Since the mid- eighties she has worked with her business healing imagery and until recently as director of a renewal healing center in St. Paul. She is an art educator, certified energy therapist, Renewing Life facilitator spiritual coach and an artist/healing consultant for various Twin Cities hospitals and oncology clinics. She conducts workshops and retreats on topics related to art, spirituality and healing based upon insights from years of living with Lupus.
