Summer Solstice Gathering
Friday, June 20—7:00-9:00pm
On June 21, the northern half of our planet tilts fully toward the sun and the hours of sunlight are the longest on this day.
Our ancient ancestors believed that on midsummer's eve the walls separating the worlds of the spirits and humans
became as thin as tissue paper.
Join us this Midsummer’s Eve for an evening of healing and celebration to include readings, light movement, and
meditation. Please bring a flower and a poem or reading to share. The evening will be led by Well Within’s Executive
Director, Nancy L. Anderson, MDiv, an avid ritualist
Thin Places: Where Faith is Affirmed and Hope Dwells
Tuesday, August 12—7:00pm
In her award-winning book, Mary Treacy O’Keefe, MA describes her family’s experiences with “thin places” – those
sudden realizations of the ethereal veil between what we know of earth and what we believe of heaven. Come and hear
Mary’s presentation to help identify the “thin places” in your own life. We will discuss how these moments of grace impact our daily lives.
